Julie Nichols, LMT, CNMT - Precision Neuromuscular Therapy for Soft Tissue Pain Relief
What are the benefits of  massage therapy?
Massage therapy can:
-reduce pain
-facilitate healing of soft tissue injuries
-increase joint range of motion
-reduce muscular tension and associated discomfort
-increase strength and performance
How often should I receive massage therapy?
Each client presents with unique health challenges and goals.  After assessing your individual needs we can work together to outline a treatment plan.  When addressing a specific musculoskeletal problem, it is often beneficial to receive treatment once a week or more often for the first few weeks.  Sessions are then spread out accordingly as the condition improves.  Many clients choose to schedule monthly sessions for maintenance and preventative care.
What qualifications does my massage therapist have?
It is important that your therapist maintain licensure in the state where she practices.  I am currently licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio as a massage therapist.  I am also certified in Functional Movement Taping, IASTM, and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy.
Do I have to be naked?
Absolutely not.  Your comfort and privacy are extremely important to me.  During a typical session you will remain fully clothed or partially clothed... often clients wear shorts, ladies wear sports bras or tank tops... it depends on what we're treating.  For a general massage session you will undress to your level of comfort and I will use sheets, towels and proper positioning to maintain your privacy.
How much does massage therapy cost?
30 Min - $55
45 Min - $70
60 Min - $85
90 Min - $110
Your sessons will be tax exempt if prescribed by a physician, dentist or chiropractor.
Without a medical referral, 7% sales tax will be added to the above rates.
Will my insurance cover massage therapy?
Some insurance companies cover massage therapy when properly prescribed by a physician.  If you wish to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, I will gladly provide you with an itemized receipt.
I am a certified provider for the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation.
